I recommend making an appointment in advance to ensure you receive the time slot you prefer. However, feel free to call or text on short notice, as I may have an opening or cancellation.
Yes. You have several options. You can purchase Instant Online Gift Certificates from our site or purchased through me (Staci Cassell) on location(see above)... or over the phone with debit/credit cards which can be picked up at your convenience. I will also happily mail them to you or the recipient.
Uh oh! Please give a courtesy call as soon as you know. Late arrivals are not granted extensions, and will receive the remainder of their scheduled session and the full session price will be due.
I know we all have hectic lives and busy schedules, but please notify me 24-48 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
es·the·ti·cian[ èsthə tísh'n] a person trained to administer facials, peels, axing, microdermabrasion, body treatments etc. and advise clients on the care of their skin and makeup techniques.
A facial is a cosmetic treatment of the face, commonly involving a variety of skin treatments, including: steam, exfoliation, extraction, creams, lotions, serums, masks, peels, and massage.
Facials smooth and soften the skin, stimulate circulation, reduce appearance of pores and fine lines, improve product penetration, improve muscle tone, relieve stress and tension, help relieve sinus congestion, facial pain, and much more.
Ideally, have a facial every four to six weeks. Why? That's how long it takes the skin to regenerate. You may need them more frequently(when beginning treatments) if you are trying to clear up a case of acne, calm an inflamed case of rosacea, fade hyperpigmentation, or make a more rapid improvement in firmness and elasticity. Atleast, have a facial four times a year as the seasons change.
Massage is preventative care. Experts estimate that upwards of ninety percent of disease is stress-related. And perhaps nothing ages us faster, internally and externally, than high stress. Massage is an effective tool for managing stress, which translates into:
Massage can also help specifically address a number of health issues. Bodywork may:
Massage Therapy is not a medical diagnostic tool, nor is it a substitute for medical care.
When you arrive for your first appointment, you will be required to fill out a Client Intake Form and sign the Office Policy. After discussing your health history, current need for massage, and any painful areas of concern we will create a personalized session tailored just for your body. You will then be given a few minutes of privacy and peace, to undress to your level of comfort, before laying on the massage table. (You may undress completely or leave your underwear on if that helps you to completely relax). You will be draped in sheets and a blanket for the duration of the session. Take a few breaths to settle in and Staci will knock before entering the room again. Once the massage begins feel free to openly communicate if you would like to change the pressure, temperature, music, or have a drink of water. This is your time to relax, so we want you to be comfortable and content.
Actually, yes. If you are suffering from sunburn, severe burns, poison ivy, or any other form of widespread skin rash/irritation, please refrain from booking a session or call to reschedule your appointment within 24 to 48 hours. Also, if you've suffered from an injury within the past 36-72 hours, it may be best to practice RICE (Rest Ice Compression Elevation) or seek medical help. Lastly, if you are currently ill or are even 'starting to feel better today' after an extended illness, just wait a little longer before receiving a massage (massage promotes healthy immune function by improving lymphatic circulation but this may make an ill person feel worse).
No. Never. If this is what you seek, go elsewhere. We provide only non-sensual, professional massage. Any act of sexual misconduct or harassment by a client will immediately terminate the session, and full payment will be due. We also reserve the right to prevent anyone from booking or rescheduling an appointment.
Microdermabrasion(often referred to as microderm) is a popular, painless, non-invasive cosmetic procedure in which the stratum corneum (dead outermost surface of the skin) is partially or completely removed by light abrasion(exfoliation). The intensity used in this treatment depends on your skin type and conditions.
Microdermabrasion stimulates cell renewal and the production of collagen and elastin. It helps treat sun damage, fine lines, enlarged pores, superficial scars, whiteheads, blackheads, and hyperpigmentation. As with other skin rejuvenation techniques, more than one treatment may be needed to reduce appearance of fine lines, poor size, fade hyperpigmentation, or treat acne.
A licensed Esthetician has received focused, extensive training in the areas of anatomy and physiology, pathology, technique and sanitation. 95 percent of a cosmetologists training is hair. The decision is yours.
